Melissa V. Hamilton

Melissa Hamilton is an Associate in the Worcester, MA office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law. She holds a J.D./MBA from the University of Massachusetts School of Law.
Prior to joining Boyle | Shaughnessy, Melissa served as a staff attorney at Community Legal Aid, where she provided legal services to indigent elderly clients. During her time at UMass Law, Melissa was a staff editor for the UMass Law Review, participated in the Jessup International Moot Court competition, and worked as a student fellow in the Corporate Law Clinic. Additionally, she served as a teaching assistant for Criminal Procedure and held several leadership positions in student organizations. Melissa also gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elspeth Cypher of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and as a law clerk in the General Counsel’s office at the University of Massachusetts Foundation.
Before law school, Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with a concentration in the Philosophy of Law, from Worcester State University
