Nicholas Celico is an Associate in the Providence, RI office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law. Nicholas defends claims in a variety of areas including personal injury, premises liability, contractual disputes, and professional liability. Nicholas is currently admitted in Rhode Island state court.
Nicholas graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law magna cum laude in May 2024. While there, he was involved in numerous marine and coastal law & policy projects. He participated in the Environmental and Land Use Clinic where he interned at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management to analyze seafood regulations and propose new policies to improve economic opportunities for fishermen. He also worked as a student researcher for the Marine Affairs Institute as part of the Coastal Resilience Law and Policy Clinic, researching coastal zoning across the United States that could be utilized in Rhode Island. He also did pro bono work on legal disputes concerning public “right of ways” to the shoreline.
Nicholas graduated from the University of Rhode Island magna cum laude in May 2019. He majored in marine biology and minored in Marine Affairs. The following year he graduated from the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography with a Master of Oceanography. He was also a member of the Ram’s track & field and cross country teams. After coming to a cross-roads on his next chapter, Nicholas realized the best way he could make a difference in people’s lives and advance his passions would be stepping into the legal arena.
